With continuous bearing capacity measurements, the TSD quickly identifies the weak sections of the runway allowing for correct timing of preventive maintenance.
Measuring at a speed from 0 and up to 80 km/h, runway operations can be performed as normal during the entire measuring process while obtaining a detailed image of the runway condition.
The TSD easily combines bearing capacity data with surface images, Boeing indexes, runway layer thickness data etc. to synchronize a clear picture of the runway with detailed and reliable data, which is essential for deciding how and exactly where to repair to maximize uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
