Danish Aviation Group was established in 2014 as a LinkedIn group by The Trade Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark with inspiration from Danish aviation companies and business organizations.
The aim of Danish Aviation Group is to create a network where Danish companies and organizations working within the aviation sector globally, can:

• Get access to relevant stakeholders and decision makers within aviation and airports globally
• Increase awareness of their company’s capabilities on specific markets and brand their solutions
• Share knowledge regarding international projects and tenders
• Provide a platform for joint turnkey solutions rather than single products
• Share experiences at network meetings in Denmark and at other events
• Participate in market visits and aviation delegations to growth markets with new project and export opportunities
• Develop strategic sales alliances with other companies in the network.  

The aviation industry in Denmark consists of more than 100 companies delivering products and services to airports, airport authorities, airline companies and aircraft manufacturers etc. We believe that Danish technologies with their strong focus on optimizing efficiency of human resources, energy, water and materials and environmental protection, have a large potential within the rapidly growing international aviation and airport market. Furthermore, we believe the demand for solutions – rather than individual products and services – will become more dominant in the future, and by entering into alliances the Danish companies – of which many are SMEs - will stand stronger in the international competition. Together, the Danish companies can offer their services and provide solutions to match the demand for new airport facilities and aircraft services to cater for the rapidly increasing number of travelers globally over the next decades.
